El arte es moda, la moda es arte y desde hace tiempo me había llamado la atención el body Paint. Era la típica chica que me gustaba verlo hecho en otro cuerpo, llegando a apreciar el trabajo realizado, pero en mí era una cosa que no me atrevía para nada. Hasta que tuve la oportunidad de que me lo ofrecieran y pese a mis complejos y vergüenza me atreví.
El body Paint o Body Painting es el arte de pintar un cuerpo desnudo dotándolo de formas y colores que expresan un motivo. Esta expresión corporal es una de las primeras y más originales formas de arte. En la antigüedad se usaba en rituales y ceremonias, hoy se reconoce cada vez más como una forma de arte moderno.
La pintura corporal no es sólo pintar sobre la piel, es transformar los cuerpos en verdaderas obras de arte viviente, que respiran y tienen movimiento.
Al darme la oportunidad de la mano del artista Jorge Miguel Barrionuevo, un experimentado maquillador de cine y modelos ( Instagram: @jorge_miguel_barrionuevo), dije que sí, sin tener que pensarlo ni tan siquiera 5 minutos. Aunque le dije que me gustaría que fuera algo relacionado con la moda, ya que me sentía mucho más cómoda así. De esa forma Jorge y yo nos pusimos a pensar en algo original, pero a la vez clásico para no sentirme tan desorientada y que no me saliera de mi zona de confort.
Últimamente el esmoquin ha vuelto con mucha fuerza, y si eres hombre y te invitan a algún preestreno, evento, gala, etc el Dress Code exigido es el esmoquin, vamos que no puede faltar. Así que Jorge se inspiró en los esmoquins femeninos que el gran IVES SAINT LAURENT se encargó de introducir en el mundo de la moda femenina.
El pantalón era la pieza prohibida para las mujeres del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Yves Saint Laurent se encargó de introducir hasta entonces la prenda masculina, en la alta costura femenina de manera que el pantalón paso a ser, además de una prenda uniese, en un símbolo de poder femenino.
Cuando el pantalón fué aceptado por las sociedades de la época, el gran maestro en el año 1967, dio un paso más creando el famoso smoking que le convirtió en una de las firmas más reconocidas y aclamadas en el mundo de la Haute Coulture. El artista creó la versión femenina de la chaqueta de cena para hombre. Más que una moda, un símbolo, como bien dijo el diseñador: «La moda viene y va, pero el estilo es para siempre».
Para este trabajo, Jorge utilizó dos técnicas: el Body Painting con pincel, con el que dibujó la base, los bordes, rellenó espacios, hizo los motivos y detalles más complicados, etc. Ya que para que un diseño quede lo más realista posible es necesario un dominio de la pintura artística y saber utilizar el pincel. Y lo fue alternando con aerógrafo, que es una pistola que contiene un depósito de pintura y propulsión de aire. Con esta técnica se consigue una pintura más uniforme, degradados y efectos de textura.
La sesión de Body Paint duró al rededor de hora, hora y media.
Y para que todo esto quedara bien inmortalizado en magnificas fotografías, contamos con Javier Armenteros, Director de cine, guionista y fotógrafo (Instagram: @alment87), el cual plasmo en estas fotos, la esencia del esmoquin, la fuerza que puede llegar a tener una mujer al ponérselo, y los detalles tan magníficos de la pintura realizada.
Yo creo que quedaron genial tanto las fotos como el trabajo que no puede ser más perfecto.
Así que si quereis decorar vuestro cuerpo de forma temporal y causar sensación en alguna ocasión especial, el Body Painting es la mejor opción y una experiencia maravillosa, tanto para el que lo realiza como para quien sirve de lienzo humano. Yo os lo recomiendo 100% y si son con estos dos profesionales seguro que repetiréis.

Although I told him that I would like it to be something related to fashion, since I felt much more comfortable like that. In this way, Jorge and I began to think about something original, but at the same time classic so as not to feel so disoriented and that I would not leave my comfort zone.
Lately the tuxedo has returned with great force, and if you are a man and you are invited to a preview, event, gala, etc. The Dress Code required is the tuxedo, we can not miss it. So Jorge was inspired by the female tuxedos that the great IVES SAINT LAURENT was commissioned to introduce into the world of women’s fashion.
The trousers were the prohibited piece for women of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Yves Saint Laurent was in charge of introducing until then the masculine garment, in the feminine haute couture so that the trousers happened to be, in addition to an unite garment, in a symbol of feminine power.
When the trousers were accepted by the societies of the time, the great master in 1967, took a step further by creating the famous tuxedo that made him one of the most recognized and acclaimed firms in the world of Haute Coulture. The artist created the female version of the mens dinner jacket. More than a fashion, a symbol, as the designer said: «Fashion comes and goes, but style is forever.»
For this work, Jorge used two techniques: the Body Painting with a brush, with which he drew the base, the edges, filled in spaces, made the motifs and details more complicated, etc. Because for a design to be as realistic as possible it is necessary to master artistic painting and know how to use the brush. And it was alternating with airbrush, which is a gun that contains a deposit of paint and air propulsion. With this technique a more uniform paint, gradients and textural effects are achieved.
The Body Paint session lasted about an hour, hour and a half.
And for all this to be well immortalized in magnificent photographs, we have Javier Armenteros, film director, screenwriter and photographer (Instagram: @ alment87), which I translate into these photos, the essence of the tuxedo, the strength that can come to have a woman when putting it on, and the magnificent details of the painting done.
I think that both the photos and the work that could not be more perfect were great.
So if you want to decorate your body temporarily and cause a sensation in a special occasion, Body Painting is the best option and a wonderful experience, both for the person who performs it and for the person who serves as the human canvas. I recommend it 100% and if you are with these two professionals you will surely repeat.
